Where do featured ad payments go?
Payments for the R49 featured ad upgrade go directly to your Stripe account. Helderberg Classifieds never collects or stores your bank account details — Stripe handles the card payment, holds the funds, and pays them out to you.
- Log in to your Stripe Dashboard using the same account that owns the key saved in this app.
- In the left sidebar, click Settings (the gear icon), then under Account settings choose Payouts.
- Look for the section called Payout account or Bank accounts, then click Add bank account.
- Select your country and currency, enter your account number, and submit any verification documents Stripe asks for.
- Verify the account. Stripe may send two small deposits or request documents to confirm ownership.
- Note: real bank account setup only appears in live mode. If you are in test mode, switch to live mode first.
Stripe automatically transfers your available balance to the bank account on file. The exact timing depends on your country and account settings, but it is usually a few business days after each transaction. You can see your next expected payout and current balance in the Stripe Dashboard.
Keep your Stripe secret key private. Only users with the right permissions can create or manage checkout sessions in this app. If you ever suspect your key has been exposed, revoke it in the Stripe Dashboard immediately and generate a new one.
